St. John’s Lutheran School will be partnering with United Evangelical Mission International (UEMI) to sponsor and support the education of a child in Bangalore, India. UEMI has opened a school in Bangalore (the United Public School) and we will be sponsoring a child at this school. The name of the child we are spnsoring is Sashi and we will be following his progress throughout our school year next year. We will also be interacting with the child and the school through Skype/Internet classroom interactions. Check back often to see status updates on how this project is going, and how our students are interacting w/ Sashi learning more about India itself.. We look forward to this unique and wonderful opportunity to support a child's education, spread the Gospel Message, and interact with those of another culture/country.
